Yamaha Professional Single Pedal Double Chain Drive With Case
Yamaha FP-9C Chain Drive Single Bass Drum Pedal
The Yamaha FP-9C is a flagship single bass drum pedal designed for smooth response, precise adjustment, and dependable performance. Its durable double-chain drive delivers a fluid feel, while an adjustable cam system allows players to fine-tune the pedal's action to suit their technique and preferred response.
Adjustable Double-Chain Drive
The FP-9C features a quick-adjusting cam with three available positions. Moving the cam changes the pedal's initial resistance and overall response, making it easy to dial in anything from a lighter feel to a more powerful, controlled stroke. An included nylon belt also allows the pedal to be converted from chain drive to belt drive.
Smooth and Stable Performance
An axle-stabilizing bearing chamber helps keep the shaft and bearings properly aligned for smooth rotation. Yamaha's low-profile stabilizing hinge and anti-skid heel spikes provide a solid, planted feel during demanding performances.
Fine-Tuned Pedal Response
Independent footboard and beater angle adjustments allow the pedal's position and throw to be customized separately. The easy-access spring adjustment features an auto-locking design, helping players make quick changes while keeping their preferred setting secure.
Weight-Adjustable Beater
The included beater can be customized with aluminum and brass weights, allowing drummers to adjust its balance, impact, and overall feel. The FP-9C also includes a semi-hard carrying case for convenient transportation and protection.
