Used Gretsch USA Custom 16x22 Bass Drum with Internal Mufflers 2013 Walnut Finish with Hard Case

Used Gretsch USA Custom 16x22 Bass Drum with Internal Mufflers - 2013 Walnut Finish with Hard Case

This Used Gretsch USA Custom 16x22 Bass Drum combines the warm, focused tone of Gretsch's legendary maple and gum shell construction with a classic Walnut finish and factory-style internal mufflers. Built in 2013, this USA-made bass drum offers a deep, controlled voice with the projection and musical character associated with the USA Custom Series.

Classic Gretsch USA Custom Construction

The USA Custom Series is built around Gretsch's 6-ply maple and gum shell formula with 30-degree bearing edges and the signature Silver Sealer interior. This construction produces a warm fundamental, clear attack, and controlled resonance that works well across a wide range of tuning and dampening choices.

Full 16x22 Bass Drum Voice

The 16x22 configuration delivers a balanced combination of low-end depth, punch, and projection. It has enough body for rock, pop, country, and live performance while remaining responsive and controlled for studio work and lower-volume settings.

Internal Mufflers

Built-in internal mufflers allow the drum's sustain and overtones to be adjusted without adding loose external dampening materials. They provide a convenient way to shape the bass drum toward a more open, resonant sound or a shorter and more focused response.

Walnut Finish and Hard Case

The Walnut finish gives this bass drum a rich, traditional appearance that complements natural and darker lacquer drum sets. A hard case is included for added protection during storage and transportation.
