Sonor Kompressor Snare Drum 14x8 Aluminum Demo/Open Box

Sonor Kompressor Snare Drum 14x8" Aluminum Demo/Open Box

Sonor Kompressor 8x14 Aluminum Snare Drum - Demo/Open Box

The Sonor Kompressor 8x14 Aluminum Snare Drum delivers a deep, powerful voice with the crisp articulation and controlled character of a heavy aluminum shell. This demo/open-box drum offers professional Sonor construction and hardware at a discounted price.

Deep Aluminum Shell Sound

The 2mm beaded aluminum shell produces a strong fundamental tone, crisp attack, and a naturally dry response with plenty of body. Its 8-inch depth adds low-end weight and projection, making this snare especially well suited for powerful backbeats, rock, metal, studio work, and any setting that calls for a substantial snare sound.

Responsive and Controlled

Despite its deep shell, the Kompressor maintains clear articulation and sensitivity across a wide tuning range. Sonor's Optimum Shell Measurement design promotes clean head contact, controlled decay, and dependable response at both low and high dynamics.

Professional Sonor Hardware

The drum features 2.3mm triple-flanged Steel Power Hoops for a focused tone and solid playing feel. Sonor TuneSafe lugs help prevent tension rods from loosening during demanding performances, while the standard Sonor throw-off provides smooth and straightforward snare adjustment.
