This used Tama Rockstar rack tom dates to approximately 1988 and features a 12x10 configuration with a black wrap finish. Its traditional power-tom dimensions provide a full, punchy sound with strong projection and plenty of body.

The Rockstar series utilized Tama’s original 9-ply plywood shell construction. The shell exterior is finished in black wrap, while the interior features Tama’s Zola-Coat. Developed to help protect the shell from changes in humidity, Zola-Coat also contributes to the drier, more controlled sound these drums can develop as they age.
