Birch/Mahogany shell, made throughout the '70s and '80s. Amazing sounding drum, with a focused, low fundamental note and a beautifully long sustain. Note that there is an extra hole drilled into the side of the drum where an XLR mounting plate existed. Paint is slightly yellowed in spots, and there are some scratches and indentations in the lacquer. This is a great tom for a live kit where you're ok with bruises and bumps, or killer studio tom. Made in Japan
