Used DW Exotic 7-Piece Drum Kit in Deep Rich Red over Olive Ash Burl with Butter Edges and Red Pearl Inlays
This Used DW Exotic 7-Piece Drum Kit is a highly distinctive Collector's Series configuration featuring a Deep Rich Red finish over Olive Ash Burl, elegant Red Pearl inlays, and DW's rounded Butter Edges on every drum. The matching 6.5x14 snare drum is signed by DW master drum designer John Good, adding another special detail to this premium custom-built set.
Large Custom Configuration
The kit includes 7x10, 8x12, and 9x13 rack toms, 14x16 and 14x18 floor toms, a 16x24 bass drum, and a matching 6.5x14 snare drum. This expansive setup offers a broad melodic range, substantial low-end power, and the flexibility to create a large touring, studio, or showcase configuration.
Olive Ash Burl Exotic Finish
The figured Olive Ash Burl exterior is enhanced by a deep translucent red finish that highlights the natural grain of the wood. Red Pearl inlays provide a complementary visual accent, giving the kit a rich, detailed appearance that stands out without obscuring the exotic veneer.
Butter Edges on Every Drum
Each drum features DW Butter Edges, a rounded bearing-edge profile designed to increase head-to-shell contact. This construction encourages a warmer fundamental, controlled sustain, softer attack, and a more vintage-inspired response while retaining the precision and consistency of modern DW craftsmanship.
Matching John Good-Signed Snare
The matching 6.5x14 snare drum features the same exotic finish, Red Pearl detailing, and Butter Edge construction as the rest of the kit. It is also signed by John Good, making it a particularly notable component of this already exceptional custom set.
