Milestone 6.5x14 "A Million Vacations" Snare Drum

This drum is a special edition Gary McCracken signature snare. Gary is a fantastic drummer from Canada who made his name in the 1970's era hard rock band Max Webster, and continued playing founding member Kim Mitchell when Kim embarked on his highly successful solo career. One of Max Webster's biggest hits was the 1979 single "A Million Vacations," and this snare drum is themed to pay homage to that song with a fanciful "beach ball" theme, and a stunning rainbow iridescent flake color. Made of fiberglass resin, the color is part of the shell. Incredible sounding and playing drums.

This snare drum comes fitted with die-cast hoops, Milestone lugs, Dunnett R5 throw and butt plate, Res-o-Coat batter head, Cristal snare side. Additional goodies include one "A Million Vacations" tuning key, and one "A Million Vacations" Remo drum head autographed by Gary McCracken himself.
