Gretsch 5.5" x 14" Keith Carlock Signature Snare Drum - Vintage Patina
The Gretsch Keith Carlock Signature Snare Drum is a 5.5x14 brass snare designed to deliver crisp articulation, excellent sensitivity, and a powerful backbeat response. Built around a heavy 2mm brass shell, this Gretsch 5.5x14 brass snare drum offers a broad tuning range with plenty of body, projection, and controlled metallic character.
The distinctive Vintage Patina finish gives the drum an aged, individual appearance, while 4mm die-cast hoops add focus, strong rimshots, and tuning stability. Gretsch 45-degree bearing edges help provide a clean attack and responsive feel across a wide dynamic range.
A 20-strand snare wire setup keeps the drum open and sensitive while maintaining the strong response expected from a professional Gretsch brass snare drum. The Gretsch Lightning throw-off and butt plate provide reliable snare engagement, while the interior identification label signed by Keith Carlock adds a distinctive signature detail.
Whether tuned low for a fat, full backbeat or brought up higher for added crack and articulation, the Gretsch Keith Carlock 5.5x14 Signature Snare is a versatile choice for studio work, live performance, funk, rock, jazz, and modern session applications.
