Compared to the M80 models and the M1 in black or white, this Walnut Brown version is the brightest of all M1s, with the least inherent dampening due to its specific leather density and weight. It is designed for drummers who prefer an already open, resonant drum and only need small adjustments to decay and overtone content.

Snareweight M1 Brown features a patented clip that provides a permanent style grip on all size metal hoops, with the exception of S-Hoops and Tama Arc Hoops where it is not recommended. It works with triple flange hoops, die cast, angel hoops, true hoops, and even 1/4 inch wood hoops. Magnetic flexibility and a non adhesive design mean nothing sticks to your drumhead, so the head remains clean and free to vibrate naturally.
