About the Instructor
Will Andrews is a professional drummer and educator based in Seattle, WA with over 30 years of playing experience. A Berklee College of Music attendee who studied with Mike Mangini, Will has performed across the U.S. and Europe and recorded in a wide range of musical styles including progressive rock, alternative, metal, and experimental music.
He is currently the drummer for Walking Papers, Ten Miles Wide, and Night Palm, and performs and records with Matt Cameron in the band Is This Real?, where they perform Wipers material along with original compositions written by Cameron, who sings and plays guitar in the group.
Beyond performance, Will brings extensive technical experience to this class. He has tuned thousands of drums, has been professionally hired as a drum tech in several of Seattle's prominent recording studios, and has also been hired to record at London Bridge Studios for various sessions.

This session focuses on developing stronger hands through structured repetition and intentional technique work. The material is influenced by Will’s studies with Mike Mangini, Riccardo Merlini, and Ramon Montagner, and is designed to be both challenging and accessible.
